James Birthday

We went to Dan and Maree's for James' birthday. There was grilled steak, carrots, potatos and the Seahawks game. We all played with Taylor and watched the game. Taylor was so interested in the colors on the TV that it was hard to get him looking at the camera :)

Growing and Learning

Taylor is growing so fast. He is already pushing himself up with his arms and can hold some weight on his legs. He's learning how to grab and hold things now and has mastered holding hands and playing with fabrics.

He normally doesn't like his tummy time, but he's figuring out that it's not so bad and is starting to have some fun.
Watching TV with Mommy.

He likes to sit up like a big boy so he can look out and see everything :) He is even starting to lean forward and hold himself sitting on his own a little.

He fell asleep sitting up. It was the end of the night and he was exhausted!

He loves his play time with Daddy

2 Months

Sorry it has taken me so long to update the blog. Not having internet is proving to be more of a challenge than I thought it would be.

Taylor is proving to be such a joy every day, and very smart. He can already follow an object 180 degrees and smile back at you. Lately he has loved "flying" in the air, sitting up while being balenced by someone holding his arms, and his latest discovery is that his hand is his :)

Discovering his hand

He's getting really good at his tummy time

All bundled up and ready for snow :)

Taylor bonded with James really fast when he came home. I don't think there's been a time when James couldn't get him to smile or calm down.

Taylor James Waggener

The new addition to the family! He was 8lbs 9oz and 20 inches long when he was born. So far he has been wonderful, aside from his awake sessions during the night that last two hours. He sleeps great during the day though and when he is awake he is usually really happy and loves to be walked around so that he can see everything :)

He found his thumb all on his own!

James graduated from basic training in June. We got to spend four days with him. It was fun, but very hot!!

James' unit at the coin ceremony. He's right in front (4th from the right) so we got a good view :)

All the trainees lined up at the coin ceremony waiting to be anounced airmen.

All the Airmen lined up while speaches were given before the parade began.

For the parade all the airmen marched around the field infront of all the family and friends that came to see them.

At the end of the parade they marched to the front of the field to be dismissed as Airmen.

On Friday we went to a baseball game. Didn't care for the game much, but some extra time with eachother was really nice :)

Behind us is the Alamo. The line was really long so we didn't go in, but we did take a boat tour of the river walk that was close by. It was pretty cute with all the little shops and resturants. We ended up eating at a mexican resteraunt that was amazing!

The Waggener/Moeller Wedding

We had so much fun at the wedding! Everything turned out so much better than we had ever thought it would. Matt did a wonderful job with the ceremony. We loved the comedy that he put into it, especially the analogy of men being like trucks :)

The weather was perfect for us to. We were worried about the bridesmaids wearing those short dresses, or for everyone getting rained on. But the weather, flowers, food, everything turned out better than we could have expected :)

We got our wedding pictures back right before James left for his basic training in Texas. These are some of our favorites.

Right after we got to see eachother for the first time that day :)

The start of the ceremony. That chapel was so pretty. The whole thing was hand built by the owners with wood from their property!

Lighting the Unity Candle.

Saying the vows

After the kiss Cherris made a comment that was so cute :) We all had to turn and laugh :)

The whole wedding party. There was a lot of us :)

The reception was so much fun. Everything there looked so much better than we ever could have anticipated! Thank you SO much to everyone who helped!!

Yeah for getting cake all over his face!

You just can't beat this view. Part of the reason why we chose that site for the reception :)
