Birthdays and More

Thought it was about time that I posted something on here :)  The kids have been growing so much in the past 6 months!  Taylor literally grew over 2 inches this summer and three shoe sizes!  Alaina started crawling and is going to be walking my guess in about a month!  Anyways, here are some fun pics I wanted to share :)

 

 

 They got a new toy off of Craigslist

 Alaina was a fairy sorta butterfly for halloween and Taylor was Super Why from PBS Sprout. Unfortunately Taylor wouldn't keep his costume on long enough for me to get a picture, and Alaina's wings didn't stay on long after this picture was taken.

Having Fun :)

The kids have been growing up so much! Alaina has realized that she can move herself and is now getting upset sometimes because she can't.  Taylor is still being an amazing older brother and is "sharing" his toys with her.

Alaina was getting jealous that Taylor got his bed time shake with the night-night show, so now she gets a bottle :)  Whether or not she actually drinks any of it is comletely debatable

Easter

This year we were able to see both familys for Easter. Saturday we spent with Dana's side of the family and Sunday we spent with James'. It was really nice to be able to see everyone. We were able to get Taylor and Alaina outside for some egg hunting and to find their Easter baskets from Grandma Maree and Grandad Dan. Taylor even understood that you have to find the eggs and put them into the basket and then find some more!!! It was very fun to watch :)

Taylor was so tired when we got home on saturday from playing with all the cousins that he fell asleep with me and James in our bed :)

Growing Even More!!

Alaina is doing so well with her tummy time. She has even rolled over a couple times now! She is getting close to rolling over from her back to her front to. Everyday she surprises us with how happy she is ALL the time :-). She has begun making some of the silly noises that babys like to do, which is always fun to do back and get some smiles out of her. And tickling her has begun to get some giggles! Most times their pretty hard to get out, and her tickle spot changes from one day to the next, so when you find that spot for the day it's even more joyful.

Taylor has grown up so much! He's turning into such a little boy and is even saying some words! The two he says best are "up" and "no." He is also saying his versions of mommy, daddy, night-night, kitty, meow, juice, and of course his super nice way of asking for things which is best described as a high piched squeak while pointing at what he wants and a confirmation of what he wants by nodding his head in a yes please :-)

Just for Fun

Taylor has really figured out how to be gentle with Alaina. He knows that he sits next to her and not on her and that toys are played with, once again, next to her and not on her :) Alaina loves to watch him play and sometimes when he talks to her she will smile and talk back. She has even called for him to come back when he's left her view!

Taylor got his first bubble bath tonight. He had so much fun splashing and playing with the bubbles we couldn't resist taking a few pictures and thought we would share.

Winter and Christmas Fun

This season Taylor got to really play in the snow for the first time. He didn't really know what to think of it, but he did enjoy watching us toss it into the air and walk around in it. Alaina has grown so much! She's already trying to get into 6-9 month clothing. She is like Taylor to in that she doesn't mind the bath at all :)
